Just after Bella ended the call with her eldest brother, Steven hurried in with an impatient expression.
“Ms.
Bella, Justin Salvador came again! He’s so shameless! He should have gone into insurance sales instead!”
“His persistence in helping his beloved fiancée is truly admirable.
”
Bella didn’t even look up, busy signing documents.
However, Steven could sense a hint of jealousy and bitterness in her voice, though he wasn’t sure if he was imagining it.
“Ms.
Bella, I’ll go downstairs and drive him away personally.
”
“No, invite him up,” Bella said, closing her pen and raising an eyebrow.
“What?!” Steven was stunned.
“He’s so persistent, coming three times just to see me.
I should show him some respect,” Bella remarked, leaning forward and stretching out her feet.
Steven quickly knelt down to help her put on her high heels.
“Go to the restaurant downstairs and find me a girl with a pretty face and a nice voice.
I have something planned.
”
Ten minutes later, Steven brought a waitress who met Bella’s criteria to the office.
“Hello, Ms.
Thompson!”
The waitress bowed deeply, too nervous to breathe.
“Don’t be nervous.
I have a small task for you, and you’ll be rewarded once it’s done,” Bella said with a slight smile.
“I don’t need any reward! I’m just happy to be of use to you, Ms.
Thompson,” the waitress blurted, her face turning red.
“I really like you! You’re my idol!”
Bella smiled, nodding approvingly.
“She has a similar figure to me.
Steve, prepare a set of clothes and shoes for her.
”
“Huh? Okay…” Steven left in confusion.
“Ms.
Thompson, what do you want me to do?” the waitress asked eagerly.
Bella’s red lips curled into a sly smile.
“Justin Salvador, CEO of Salvador Corporation, will be coming to meet with me soon.
I’m not in the mood, so you’ll meet him on my behalf.
”
The waitress’s legs turned to jelly at the suggestion.
“Don’t be scared.
I’ll monitor everything from here, and you’ll be wearing a Bluetooth headset so you can just repeat everything I say.
Remember to act naturally!”
After three visits to KS World Hotel, Justin finally got the chance to meet Bella Thompson.
Though his expression remained calm, his heart was racing.
The administrative secretary led them to the elevator.
Along the way, Justin’s striking looks caught the attention of the female employees.
When they arrived at the elevators, just as Ian was about to press the button, the administrative secretary stopped him.
“This elevator is exclusively for Ms.
Thompson.
You two will have to take the common elevators.
”
“Tsk! What’s the big deal?” Ian rolled his eyes in annoyance.
Justin didn’t mind.
After all, he had his own exclusive elevator at Salvador Corporation.
The elevator slowly ascended the 40-story building, but it stopped on the 30th floor.
“Please get off the elevator,” the secretary said.
“We’re not there yet.
Isn’t Ms.
Thompson’s office on the 40th floor?” Ian asked in confusion.
“Yes, but this elevator only goes to the 30th floor.
”
“What do you mean?” Justin frowned.
“Besides the general manager’s exclusive elevator, the other five elevators only go up to the 30th floor.
No one can take the exclusive elevator without Ms.
Thompson’s permission.
So if you want to reach the 40th floor, you’ll have to take the stairs.
”
Ian was furious.
“Is this how Ms.
Thompson treats her guests?! This is too much!”
“I’m just delivering the message.
If you don’t want to take the stairs, I can send you back down,” the secretary said flatly, like a robot.
“Forget it.
Let’s take the stairs.
”
Justin pursed his lips tightly, suppressing his anger, and walked out of the elevator without hesitation.
